Julia began her career while studying for both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, specializing in structural engineering. She gained significant experience early on, working as a Project Engineer on high-end residential and mixed-use developments for private and commercial clients across the UK.
In 2019, Julia established JMP Consulting Engineers, applying her technical expertise to deliver comprehensive engineering design solutions. Later that year, she co-founded JMP Contractors & Engineers, expanding the company’s offerings to provide complete construction services, from initial design through to project handover.
As a certified Principal Designer, Julia ensures that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Her role combines active involvement in the technical design aspects with overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, enabling the company’s continued growth and success. Her leadership and commitment to excellence have been vital to JMP’s development in the UK and beyond.

Manolis studied architecture before training as a carpenter, where he developed a strong passion for timber and sustainability. His dedication to construction and the environment, combined with his interest in ecological building systems, led him to establish Woodisland in the late 1990s—Greece’s first ecological builders’ merchant. As a specialist in both traditional and engineered timber, he was among the first in Greece to import high-quality timber and introduce Scandinavian wood aesthetics to the local market. Woodisland continues to operate successfully today, reflecting his long-standing commitment to sustainable construction.
In 2019, Manolis expanded his expertise to the UK, integrating the construction division into the company and co-founding JMP Contractors & Engineers.
